Hello, I’m Dave. I run DD Music Geek, a comic and music shop in Lowestoft, and this is where the rest of my geekery ends up.

I started The Foundry Sessions as a place to talk about and highlight my other interests, the ones that don’t necessarily fit in with DD Music Geek. When the two overlap, I’ll happily blend them together. When they don’t, this is the place to go off on one.

**What’s here already**

- [A Beginner’s Guide to Collecting Preowned Vinyl](https://www.thefoundrysessions.co.uk/a-beginners-guide-to-collecting-preowned-vinyl-2/) and [Why Vinyl Is Spinning Back Into Style](https://www.thefoundrysessions.co.uk/why-vinyl-is-spinning-back-into-style/), for anyone digging through the crates
- [How the Review Roll Works](https://www.thefoundrysessions.co.uk/how-the-review-roll-works/), my d20 scoring system, along with the first review: [Homeland](https://www.thefoundrysessions.co.uk/review-roll-homeland/)

**What’s coming**

New posts land every **Tuesday and Thursday from 19 October**. Expect more Review Roll reviews, games, comics, records and whatever else I’ve been obsessing over that week. I’d rather keep some of it a surprise.

**Come along**

Join the community for free and new posts will land straight in your inbox. No algorithms, no paywalls, just the good stuff. You can also find me on Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky, TikTok, Threads and YouTube.

If you’re ever in Lowestoft, pop in and say hello at [DD Music Geek](https://www.ddmusicgeek.co.uk/?ref=thefoundrysessions.co.uk).
